Miranda Skoczek has long been one of my favourite Australian artists. I actually also came across the work of Miranda Skoczek when I purchased a tea-towel that she had designed back in 2010 from Husk [who arguably have the best store windows in Melbourne]. The tea-towel is a simple white linen with a black drawn line, with yellow infill in places, in a similar collage/sketchy aesthetic to her mixed media pieces. I will need to take a picture of it once I get a camera that isnt my iPhone!
I don't actually use it as a tea-towel, it's too beautiful. It is leaning over the back of a white cane chair I have at my desk.
