I came across this I came across this beautifully detailed staircase by Francesco Librizzi today, I love the way the hand rungs make it easier to decline the ladder, I like the way even though it’s a static object you can imagine movement through it, for example people swinging down and through the rungs. However the ladder rungs would most likely very much hurt feet on the way up/down.

Overall, very cool. And very non-compliant with Australia’s building code…
